Michael is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in Massachusetts. He achieved a Masters in Social Work from Wheelock College in Boston in 2016. Outside of private practice, Michael works as a school based clinician treating elementary age children with a wide variety of social, emotional, mental health and behavioral needs.
Michael’s approach to therapy consists of client centered, holistic, and clinically driven methods aimed at empowering individual clients to overcome various life obstacles and trauma in order to achieve both long and short term goals. His practice is eclectic in nature as he adapts various treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Approaches among others to support the current needs of each client. Michael’s practice has allowed him to work with individuals from many cultures who experience a wide array of needs such as mood disorder, depression, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger, and relationship issues.
Once an individual has chosen therapy they are making a commitment to heal and transform their life in a positive light. Often such healing and transformation takes place in tandem with the support of a trusted person such as a therapist. Michael will work with you in creating a new path through helping you clear the way to walk in a new direction in life.
